| This fall ( 2008) we will cross our Babydoll Southdown ram, Joker, with only three ewes. Allowing our older girls to take a year off. Please contact us for details ~~~~~~~~~~ OUR LAMBS ARE SOLD AS PETS AND FOR FLEECE ONLY! WE DO NOT SELL THEM FOR MEAT! If you are new to sheep, please consider purchasing two lambs. Wethers ( neutered males) make wonderful pets. Their fleeces tend to grow thicker and longer as more energy is put into growing a fleece than chasing ewes. We prefer not to sell single lambs without a companion. Sheep are herd animals and are happiest and healthiest with their own kind. We do not sell bottle babies. Lambs are more likely to grow up healthy and strong with care and milk from their mothers. Feeding a lamb with a bottle is a time consuming commitment. None of this year's (2008) lamb crosses will be registered. Babydolls will. Payments can be arranged after the lambs are born. Lambs will be ready to leave their mothers between 12 and 14 weeks. Lambs will be due in late March & early April. Delivery can be arranged for a fee. We WILL NOT ship our lambs on airplanes. |

| We encourage you to visit our farm and see what wonderful, easy-keeper animals sheep can be. Romneys, Corriedales and Babydoll Southdowns are very hardy, healthy sheep that thrive in our Maine climate. Romney sheep are a pleasure to raise. They have wonderful personalities and their long, lustrous fibers are easy to process, sometimes just needing be washed only once. Babydoll Southdowns make wonderful pets, are organic weeders, do not require large areas for housing, and are just plain lovable! Our Babydolls are registered with the Olde English Babydoll Southdown Association and Foundation Registry. We have wonderful crosses every spring ! |
