beautiful yarns from happy sheep Our yarns come from a happy environment. They are the result of my creative expression combined with the lifestyle I love. Spun from the fleeces of our sheep combined with carefully selected fleeces from other Maine sheep farms, each skein is a generous 4 ounces spun in worsted weight. Dye lots are small. Consisting of 4 to 6 skeins in one color with most skeins slightly variegated, creating a textured, unique look. This offers customers the opportunity to purchase a true, one-of-a-kind product. We use dyes made in Maine as well. Our yarns are never mass produced. Each sheep is an individual. Our flock consists of a diverse group each with their own uniqueness. They are not mass produced..therefore neither are our yarns. Though our flock is large, we have carefully chosen fine fleeces, such as Correidale, as well as fine Romney ( my favorite of course! ) from other Maine farms to add to our yarns. How to order Since most yarns are a specific dye lot of 6 skeins, it is best to order the entire lot if you are planning a large project such as a sweater. Simply enter the amount of skeins you would like on the order form. Shipping is included in the price.
